End of Life Vehicles

Vehicle recycling is one of the core activities of AMC. We are an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF), allowing us to de-pollute and process 'scrap' cars in accordance with current legislation for end-of-life vehicles.

The company has invested in state of the art facilities to de-pollute vehicles and recycle non-metallic components to reduce the impact of car disposal on the environment. The facility, that can process over 20,000 vehicles per annum, is part of a drive by the recycling and automotive industries.

This makes AMC one of the few companies in the UK that can de-pollute and fragmentize vehicles. This enables valuable metals and other recyclables to be passed straight back into the production chain, avoiding the need for excessive handling.
